Anti-allergic:
Fenistil Antihistamine Drops for the treatment of seasonal allergies, hay fever, allergic rhinitis and symptoms of food or drug allergy, is used in children from 2 years of age.
It contains Dimethindene maleate, a first-generation antihistamine to relieve allergy symptoms such as itching and redness by blocking H1-histamine receptors.
- Treatment of atopic dermatitis.
- Treatment of allergy symptoms resulting from the use of medicinal drugs.
- Treatment of allergic rhinitis.
- Food allergy treatment.
- Treating insect bites.
- Symptomatic treatment of chest allergies and acute cough.
- Reducing allergy symptoms and eczema.
- Treatment of itching, redness and sensitivity.
- Allergies in the upper respiratory tract such as hay fever and perennial rhinitis
It is forbidden to use a drug in the following cases:
- Children under the age of one year.
- Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
- Patients taking monooxidase inhibitors.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Impaired liver or kidney function.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Avoid using Fenistil during pregnancy unless the benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to the baby. Animal studies have shown that this medicine has no harmful effects during pregnancy, but there are not enough human studies. It is also recommended to avoid it while breastfeeding.
