CACIPLIQ20 Chronic Wound Treatment Kit - (2 x 5 ml) To accelerate the healing of deep and ulcerated wounds, and to sterilize them.
CACIPLIQ20® is an RGTA® (ReGeneraTing Agent), intended to improve the healing of chronic skin ulcers through its cell tissue cross-linking-like structure, while at the same time sterilizing the wound and relieving the resulting pain.
It is usually used in cases of chronic skin pressure ulcers resulting from peripheral arterial disease (such as stage IV in the Leriche and Fontaine classification), or due to diabetes (including amputation), which show no tendency to heal after 6 months of usual care or continue After 12 months.

CACIPLIQ20 wound treatment is composed of the following:
- Sodium salt of 1-6 poly(carboxymethyl glucose sulfate) 0.1 mg/ml.

Treatment of festering wounds CACIPLIQ20
Wound healing medication CACIPLIQ20® is intended for application twice a week (every 3-4 days), when changing the dressing. CACIPLIQ20® is best applied to a wound that has been cleaned by surgical debridement by a healthcare professional. The wound should also be clean, without exudate, fibrous clot, or necrotic tissue, and applied either directly by the patient or by the caregiver. CACIPLIQ20® is used under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

Repeated use may reduce the therapeutic effect. Results may vary from one patient to another, and your doctor may adjust the duration of treatment accordingly. Results should usually appear within 3 months of use.
Contraindications for the use of the drug CACIPLIQ20 for treating infected wounds
Do not use the Chronic Wounds and Ulcers Kit in patients with a history of allergy or hypersensitivity reactions to any of the ingredients or to heparinoids.
Product preservation and storage information:
Store wound healing medicine CACIPLIQ20® in a dry place between 2°C and 25°C. Momentary and occasional exposure to higher temperatures (below 40°C) does not affect the safety of the product. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.

CACIPLIQ20® Wound Treatment Kit Warnings
In the absence of clinical data, it is recommended not to use CACIPLIQ20® in pregnant or lactating women, and in patients under 18 years of age. Choking Hazard - Keep out of the reach and sight of children. CACIPLIQ20® bottles and care kits do not contain preservatives and are for single use. The product will no longer be sterile if reused. To avoid contamination, do not reuse or attempt to re-sterilize. Do not pour the solution directly onto the wound. Do not inject. Do not swallow (if so, rinse mouth with water) or use in any way not prescribed (see instructions).
Also, respect the prescribed dose. If CACIPLIQ20® is applied too frequently, the therapeutic effect may be reduced. Control any potential infection and clean the wound before treatment. Do not use it on dead tissue. Do not use on severely suppurating wounds. Do not use in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components or to heparinoid compounds. People allergic to heparinoids may experience local reactions (redness, local swelling, pain, etc.), which should not affect the healing process. If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and seek advice from your doctor.
Drug interactions with the chronic wound treatment drug CACIPLIQ20®
CACIPLIQ20® is not indicated for patients eligible for revascularization surgery. CACIPLIQ20® is not indicated for patients using a non-removable boot to treat diabetic foot ulcers. Based on chemical reaction studies and literature, CACIPLIQ20® should not be used with:
- Topical antibiotics from the aminoglycoside family (gentamicin, neomycin, etc.).
- Solutions containing silver, iodine, copper or gold salts or polycation-based products such as disinfectants that already contain quaternary ammonium (eg benzalkonium chloride), these ions can immobilize the molecule.
