Fusithalmic 5g Viscous Eye Drops Fusidic acid is used in the eye to treat some types of infections caused by bacteria.
Do not take fusidic acid
• If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
It is an antibiotic for the eyes. The eye gel contains fusidic acid, a substance that kills certain bacteria. This helps treat eye inflammation and the accompanying symptoms disappear
An eye antibiotic is used if the eye is infected. Symptoms that may occur include:
- Red eye
- Irritation or itching of the eye
- Pus in the eye, which can stick the eyelids together

Uses of fusethalmic ointment:
- Fusethalmic ointment is an eye gel. You can put the gel in the eye by pulling down the lower eyelid and placing a drop of gel in the eyelid created in this way.

- Fusethalmic ointment should be used within one month of opening.
- This medicine is also available in a single-dose package for single use.
- Continue using Fusethalmic ointment for two days after symptoms disappear.
- If you stop using this medication too early, the infection may come back. If your symptoms do not improve after a few days, please contact your doctor. Do not wear lenses during treatment with fusethalmic ointment.
