The bag is firmly fixed to the baseplate by a mechanical coupling system. An audible “click” confirms the secure closure of the bag to the base plate.
Before the bag is locked into position, it can be rotated to the desired position, without having to remove the bag from the base plate.
The bag can be removed from the spiral adhesive baseplate, allowing the bag to be changed more often than with a sticky baseplate.
Alterna two-piece hardware is available with standard wear and long wear baseplates, flat or convex. They are combined with drainable, closed or ostomy bags, as well as a range of special solutions such as an overnight bag, minicap and much more. The extensive range consists of a range of baseboards with pre-cut sizes or openings that can be customised, with bags of assorted sizes available in transparent or opaque colours.
