HydroClean Plus provides Ringer's solution to the wound for up to three days. During this time, reactive and continuous wound irrigation is performed, due to which the wound dressing also absorbs wound exudate. The PHMB bound in the SAP core has an antibacterial effect and inhibits the growth of bacteria within the wound pad. HydroClean plus is suitable for wet/wet treatment of wounds, especially wounds with poor healing. The product is particularly suitable for the treatment of chronic and poorly healing wounds during the disinfection and granulation phase. HydroClean plus can also be used to treat infected wounds. Furthermore, HydroClean plus can be used to reactivate stagnant healing processes if they are caused by excessive MMP activity.
