Lamfen Antifungal Skin Cream 15g This medication is used to treat a variety of fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot and jock itch. This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis versicolor, a fungal infection that causes lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs.
Lamifen TM Cream is a broad-spectrum antifungal used to treat fungal skin infections such as:
- Athlete's foot (tinea pedis) Athlete's foot only appears on the feet (usually both, but not always), usually between the toes.
- They can also appear on the ball of the foot, the sole of the foot, or other areas of the foot.
- The most common type of athlete's foot causes cracked or peeling skin, but you may also have mild swelling, blisters, or weeping ulcers.
- Lamifene Cream is recommended for athlete's foot when it occurs between the toes.
- If you have a fungal nail infection (fungus inside and under the nail) with nail discoloration and changes in nail texture (thick or yky), you should consult your doctor as Lamifen TM cream is not suitable for this type of infection.
- Dobby's itch/jock itch (tinea cruris) - Dobby's itch appears in the groin and inner thigh area, usually on both sides but more often on one side than the other, where it can spread further between the legs to the buttocks, or up toward the upper stomach.
- Dobie's itch looks like a rash with clear boundaries, and may have blisters.

Apply just enough cream to form a thin layer on the affected skin and surrounding areas.
