Freestyle sensor A flash glucose monitoring system that does not need calibration The sensor measures, captures and saves glucose readings automatically, provided that the reader is passed over it every 8 hours at least, it measures glucose every minute through the interstitial fluid It measures glucose without a prick There are applications for the Freestyle LibreLink reading system The probe is a Libre Linkup, which enables the patient to share his readings with his family or with his family. It is water-resistant, provided that you do not take the probe deeper than one meter or immerse it in water for more than 30 minutes.
The FreeStyle Libre probe's small size makes it unobtrusive to wear.
The compact, waterproof* probe sticks to the upper arm at the back and can be worn for up to 14 days.

How to use :
1- Put the sensor
The FreeStyle Libre probe is placed on the upper arm at the back using a simple, single-use device called an applicator. When the probe is placed, a thin, flexible, sterile fibrous needle is inserted just under the skin. This needle is held in place with a small sticky chip.
2- Wipe the sensor
To measure glucose, the reader is passed over the sensor within one second in a simple, fast and painless manner. This scan gives you more information than you can get by monitoring with blood glucose test strips, without having to undergo a traditional finger prick2. The FreeStyle Libre system provides the optional FreeStyle Libre software to generate summary reports that aid in the analysis of glucose data.
3- Get the reading
With each scan over the sensor, the reader provides a reading of the current glucose level, glucose history for the last 8 hours, and a trend arrow showing whether the glucose level is rising, falling, or slowly changing. The reader can be passed over the clothes3.
