Fusibact Ointment for Bacterial Skin Infections 15g Fusidic acid is an antibiotic used topically to treat skin infections caused by bacteria. It is used to treat skin infections caused by bacteria such as impetigo (flaky, swollen skin), infected dermatitis (inflammation of the skin), and infected wounds and burns.
Use Fusibact ointment
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you.
- Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- The recommended dose is:
- It is usually recommended to use this medication 2-3 times daily.
- Doses may be changed in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor or pharmacist's instructions.
- If you take more medicine than you should, talk to your doctor or go to hospital straight away.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose
- Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a missed dose.

Warnings and precautions during use
- Be careful while using this medication near your eyes.
- Do not use it for longer than you have been told. A second infection may occur.
