Olopatadine Eye Drops Solution Eye Drops 30 Single Packs Olopatadine eye drops is a medicine for the treatment and control of allergic eye conditions. It works in two different ways by reducing and controlling the severity of an allergic reaction. Olopatadine eye drops are used to treat itching eyes associated with seasonal allergic conjunctivitis. Allergic conjunctivitis: Certain substances (allergens) such as pollen, house dust or animal fur may cause allergic reactions that lead to itching, redness and swelling of the surface of the eye.
Do not use olopatadine eye drops if:
Olopatadine eye drops should not be used if you are allergic to olopatadine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.
Do not use olopatadine in children under 16 years of age.

Before using olopatadine eye drops, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Using olopatadine eye drops and using contact lenses
• Do not wear contact lenses if your eyes are red.
• Olopatadine eye drops contain a preservative, benzalkonium chloride, which may cause eye irritation and is known to discolor soft contact lenses. Do not use the drops while wearing contact lenses.
• Remove contact lenses before putting in Olopatadine eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your contact lenses back in.
Possible side effects
A small number of people using olopatadine eye drops may experience side effects. They can be annoying, but most of them go away quickly. You can usually keep using the drops, unless the effects are serious. If you are concerned, talk to a doctor or pharmacist. Side effects may include:
• Dryness, itching, redness, irritation or crusting of the eyes
• Inflammation of the surface of the eye

Please tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even those that you have bought yourself without a prescription or natural health products.
There are no known drugs that interact with olopatadine eye drops.
How to use olopatadine eye drops
Olopatadine eye drops are eye drops. Use it only in your eyes.
If you are using other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes before putting in olopatadine and other eye drops. If you are using an eye ointment, you should apply it last.
Usual Adult Dose: 1 drop in each affected eye once daily
Instructions for use:
1. Bring a bottle of olopatadine eye drops and a mirror if needed.
2. Wash your hands.
3. Twist the cap, being careful not to touch the dropper tip.
4. Hold the bottle pointing down between your thumb and middle finger.
5. Tilt your head back. Pull your eyelid down with a clean finger so that there is a "pocket" between the eyelid and the eye. The drop will go there.
6. Bring the tip of the bottle close to the eye. Use a mirror if it helps. Do not touch your eye, eyelid, or any surface with the dropper. Drops can contaminate and cause eye inflammation and damage to the eyes.
7. Gently tap the bottom of the bottle with your finger to release one drop. Do not squeeze the bottle: it is designed so that all you need is to gently squeeze the bottom.
8. If you are using the drops in both eyes, repeat the steps with the other eye.
9. Put the bottle cap tightly back on immediately after use.
How to store olopatadine eye drops:
• Store at room temperature or between 4-25°C.
• Throw away the bottle at the end of the treatment.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
