Afamis Fluticasone Furoret Nasal Spray 120 sprays, a spray consisting of cortisone (fluticasone) topical inside the nose, used to treat allergic rhinitis and chronic sinusitis for children and adults, as well as for sinus congestion.


  • Avamys spray is used topically in the form of a nasal spray to treat sinusitis and chronic allergies.
  • It is also used as a supportive treatment for asthma patients to control inflammation of the nose and respiratory tract.
  • Avamys spray is considered safe to use for long periods without any problems if medically necessary.
  • The therapeutic effect appears within 8 hours of using the specified dose and may take several days.

Scientific composition:

27.5 micrograms of fluticasone per single spray.

The medicine comes out in the form of a suspension and is spread as a spray in the nose.

Dosage and method of use:

The spray should be shaken well before use.

For adults and children over 12 years : two sprays in each nostril once a day. The doctor can adjust the dose by either reducing it to one spray once a day or increasing it to two sprays twice a day depending on the patient’s condition.

Children from 2 to 12 years: The usual dose is one spray in each nostril once a day. The doctor can increase the dose to two sprays in each nostril once a day as needed.

Not for use by children under two years of age.

Indications:

  • Acute and chronic nasal allergies, which appear in the form of congestion, runny nose, itching, sneezing, and eye irritation.
  • Chronic sinusitis.

The side effects:

Less serious and more common side effects include:

Contraindications:
