Fusibact-B Cream for Bacterial Skin Infections 15 grams Fusibact-B Cream treats abscesses, boils, eczema and many other skin infections resulting from bacterial infections. Due to the presence of fusidic acid, which is an antibiotic, betamethasone works to reduce the redness, swelling, and itching associated with skin infections.
FUSIBACT-B CREAM FUSIBACT-B Cream contains fusidic acid and the anti-inflammatory betamethasone.
Fuspect-B Cream should not be used for viral or fungal infections.
How fusidic acid-betamethasone cream works
- The fusidic acid-betamethasone product contains two different types of medications. One medication is called fusidic acid. It is a type of antibiotic.
- The other medication is called betamethasone. It is a type of corticosteroid (steroid). These two drugs work at the same time in different ways.
- The antibiotic kills the germs (bacteria) that cause infections.
- The corticosteroid reduces any swelling, redness or itching of your skin.

- It is used to treat conditions where the skin is inflamed (eczema or dermatitis) and also infections with bacteria.
How to use Fusibact B Cream
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you.
- Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- The recommended dose is:
- It is usually recommended to use this medication twice daily.
- Doses may be changed in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor or pharmacist's instructions.
- If you take more medicine than you should, talk to your doctor or go to hospital straight away.
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose
- Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a missed dose.
Fusibact B Cream side effects
- Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain of:
